Minecraft Bedrock skin not showing

Troubleshoot a Bedrock skin that imported but is missing or invisible to other players.

A skin that appears locally but not to others may encounter server, Realm, account, network or cross-platform restrictions. Support varies by client and server.

Custom skins do not sync between devices according to Xbox Support. Import the original file separately on each supported device rather than assuming an account sign-in transfers it.

Mojang tracked a problem where imported skins reset after a restart; its issue lists a fix in Bedrock 26.60. Check your installed release and update before assuming the file is damaged.

Is this the same as import failed?

No. Import failed means the file was not accepted; this guide addresses a skin already imported but not displayed.

Why can only I see it?

Other players, servers or platforms may restrict custom skins, or sync may be delayed.

Does a Microsoft account fix every case?

No. Check account and network state, but server and platform restrictions can still apply.

Should I reimport?

If the skin is missing locally, retry the original PNG on a supported client after checking your selection.
