Questions & answers

Which Windows edition is this for?

These steps are for Bedrock, not Java Edition.

What if double-click does nothing?

Open the file with Minecraft using the system file association, or use a PNG through the Dressing Room.

Why are the arms wrong?

Choose the model matching the skin texture; Classic and Slim use different arm layouts.

Where is Import?

Look for owned classic skins in the Dressing Room. Availability and labels vary by release and platform.

Will my custom skin sync to another device?

Xbox Support says custom skins do not sync between devices; keep the original PNG accessible so you can import it on each supported device.
